We would like to invite you to the launch of The Wine Room and The Cheese & Cold Cuts Section at Harvest restaurant.
Come mingle and taste more than 20 types of artisanal cheeses, homemade cured meats and cold cuts carefully selected for this occasion. Additionally, this event will feature orange wine from Gravner and other natural wines.
We will have a special guest with us – Mateja Gravner, daughter of Josgo Gravner, the winemaker who has earned the title, father of the orange wine. Gravner will be speaking about two of Gravner orange wines from their winery. You will be tasting:
- GRAVNER RIBOLLA GIALLA IGT 2007
- GRAVNER BREG BIANCO 2007
- Artisanal cheeses from Italy, France, England, Switzerland
- Homemade cured meats and cold cuts
- Plus other sparkling, white and red natural wines
Gravner supports purely natural winemaking. He employs both amphorae and large oak barrels to make his wines. The grapes for these wines come from his 18 hectares of vineyards in Gorizia (Oslavia) that straddle the Italian-Slovenian border. It is here that he exercises his current approach to wine. Every bottle of Gravner’s wines is a testament to the pure beauty of that philosophy.
