The event will feature Australian 4 wines from Voyager Estate:

About James Penton
James Penton works very closely with Voyager’s Viticultural team to further refine and develop Voyager Estate’s ultra-premium portfolio of wines. His experience spans 15 years within the wine industry and has provided him with opportunities to assist and craft world-class Australian wines from the Clare Valley to Margaret River. James has also completed vintages in Bordeaux and travelled extensively through many French wine regions, developing a greater understanding of ‘terroir’ and all it encompasses in producing ultra-premium wines with a sense of place. James is a huge advocate for Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay and believes the region has a massive future for these two varieties on a global scale.

Dear valued customers,
We would like to invite you to the launch of The Wine Room and The Cheese & Cold Cuts Section at Harvest restaurant.

Come mingle and taste more than 20 types of artisanal cheeses, homemade cured meats and cold cuts carefully selected for this occasion. Additionally, this event will feature orange wine from Gravner and other natural wines.

We will have a special guest with us – Mateja Gravner, daughter of Josgo Gravner, the winemaker who has earned the title, father of the orange wine. Gravner will be speaking about two of Gravner orange wines from their winery. You will be tasting:

  • GRAVNER RIBOLLA GIALLA IGT 2007
  • GRAVNER BREG BIANCO 2007
  • Artisanal cheeses from Italy, France, England, Switzerland
  • Homemade cured meats and cold cuts
  • Plus other sparkling, white and red natural wines

Gravner supports purely natural winemaking. He employs both amphorae and large oak barrels to make his wines. The grapes for these wines come from his 18 hectares of vineyards in Gorizia (Oslavia) that straddle the Italian-Slovenian border. It is here that he exercises his current approach to wine. Every bottle of Gravner’s wines is a testament to the pure beauty of that philosophy.

Dear friends,
We invite you to come mingle and taste boutique wines at Harvest’s new addition to the restaurant – “The Wine Room”.

We have transformed a section upstairs into an area that can be turned into a private room on request. This cozy room is just right above The Woodshed overlooking the bar, which showcases the wine cellar that houses more than 600 bottles.

This earthy & rustic-looking wine cellar features a range of organic, biodynamic and natural wines from smaller/boutique vineyards, by wine makers who are passionate about their craft.

This 27th Feb, we will have a special guest, Mr. Ewald Gruber who will be present to showcase his wines.

Mr. Ewald Gruber, winemaker of Gruber Röschitz will speak about his wines. To accompany your evening, we invite you to meet him in person as well as taste five wines from his winery:

  • Weingut Gruber Gruner Veltliner DAC 2017
  • Weingut Gruber Riesling 2018
  • Weingut Gruber Gelber Muskateller 2017
  • Weingut Gruber Pinot Noir Galgenberg 2017

Gruber Röschitz is a family-run business. The Gruber family only uses organic methods in all their vineyards and always works in harmony with nature. They raise awareness through their natural and sustainable cultivation methods: awareness of nature, awareness of the environment and sustainable cultivation for future generations.
